About Sarah Weathers
Photography is my art.
My passion is to create using light, texture and color. PhotoArt goes beyond photography. My artist's eye draws out the emotion of each lush blossom and petal. The natural beauty of flowers is taken to a whole new level. I share my positive, hopeful perspective with Vibrant Poppy.
I love to create with bright colorful yarns. My hands are always busy with a knitting or crochet project.
My handcrafted creations include
unique hats, scarves, and afghans.
I grew up running through buttercup fields and climbing trees in Southern Oregon. I am self-taught with a degree in Journalism from the University of Oregon. I share my life in Seattle with my husband, Ralph, who is a big part of my Vibrant Poppy inspiration. I also shared one of my kidneys with him over 8 years ago!
I was honored to show my photography and handcrafts at Down Under Gallery for 3 years. And now at Eastwards Art Gallery.
